infoSync World reviews the Nikon Coolpix P100. For the full review, go to http://www.infosyncworld.com/reviews/digital-cameras/nikon-coolpix-p100/10865...

While 720p has become the standard video resolution for 2010, the Nikon Coolpix P100 pumps up the jam with 1080p, and a highly impressive show at that. This is a 10.3-megapixel, 26x optical zoom lens with a 26mm wide-angle capability. Manual controls are bountiful, the LCD is a three-inch fold-out type, and the camera has an electronic viewfinder. Nikon promised us improved image quality, thanks to the back-illuminated sensor, and gave us 10fps high-speed shooting at full resolution. Oh yeah, we forgot about the high-speed video mode, which offers up to 240fps of slow motion goodness, and a 120fps Sports mode. For more on this powerplant, let's check out the hands-on video.

  • when i take photos with the p100, my pictures look fuzzy. im just getting into photography so call me retarded but how can i fix this?

  • @NO0Bstatus Take the ISO off Auto and manually lower it to about 100 or 200. Use a tripod at night.

  • Hum, you missed a good point about that camera: It's HDR function! Shooting at night with that toy is sooooooooo fun :)

  • @oliviermyre For more on HDR mode, including image samples, go to our full review in the video description.

  • i can´t understand, why he´s reviewing a 1080p camera and the video is in 720p -.-

    WHY ???

  • @Mopzz96 This is called a review video. It really doesn't matter what resolution we shoot it in because it's not an indication of the featured camera's video quality. If you went to see 1080p samples from this camera, follow the link in the video despcription to the full review. You'll find oodles of 1080p samples shot with the featured camera in this review video.

I know that was a prodigious amount of information to comprehend, and we apologize for any mental overloads we may have caused you,

  • @anujgupta0129 P100 is lighter, much easier 2 carry. screen is larger & double in pixel count. it can record videos in 1080p, for stills it has a cmos sensor den ccd which is considered bettr . Also d high speed movie and shooting capabilities make it quite powerful. 10 vs 1.1 fps (p100 vs sx30) is quite a big figure.

Canon sx30 is a giant zoomer, ex. flash support, 10% better wide angle.

considering d price, P100 is VFM.
