Bryce Morrison also went onto to say "Perahia has real technique and real technical command as opposed to flashy showy technique that has no real substance". Someone flying up the keyboard at breakneck speed is not real technique or technical command and often makes the interpretation uninteresting and boring and most importantly unmusical. Real technique is having the ability to clarify through technique,potentially thick writing and making it as lucid as possible.

@bottlepiano I believe Perahia has now recorded this Rhapsody twice in the studio. But to hear him 'live' is all together higher experience!
