20 Second Piece - "Surprise!"

For my first animated University assignment, we had to create a 20 second animation as part of a show-reel. To keep my interest in the project, I made mine Team Fortress 2 themed. It was due in today, and I was up until 5:00 AM working on it (next time I'll start it more than a week before the deadline).

This was entirely hand-drawn. All the animation was drawn onto paper, then tested under a webcam, scanned into Digicel Flipbook, cleaned up and thrown in Final Cut. I'm REALLY pleased with the results, and I love the sketchiness/squiggly lines.

By the way, I know there's a bunch of inaccuracies regarding 2Fort and the character's colours. Deal with it, I was sleep deprived.
