From a record pressed in 1967 titled "The New Music" by Victrola Records. It is a compilation of the most innovative composers at the time, this track being the second of four.
The piece is:
Threnody for the Victims of Hiroshima (for 52 strings) by Krzysztof Penderecki
Performed by members of the Rome Symphony Orchestra under Bruno Maderna
Sorry for any pops, clicks, and buzz in the music. This is a direct input from my record player, and therefore it contains all the noises of the original record. This is one of the oldest recordings of this piece in existence, so I would like to share this experience with you all.
