In this scene from the 1982 TV movie, "The Royal Romance of Charles and Diana," the Queen Mother seeks to guide Lady Diana on her clothes selection. Diana chooses a most daring dress to wear to her first official engagement with Prince Charles. Later, at the Trooping the Color, Diana and the Queen Mother learn that someone has shot at the Queen; when they learn that she, Prince Philip, and Charles are safe, Diana tries to dissuade her from appearing on the balcony. Christopher Baines and Catherine Oxenberg co-starred in this movie, with Stewart Granger, Dana Wynter, and Olivia de Havilland in supporting roles.
