When college students are attacked by police, they are traumatized in a very specific manner. The emotional results (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) of that trauma can be channeled toward further revolutionary action. If not, the PTSD can be devastating. Many of us baby boomers were screwed up by ptsd in the 1960s and didn't even know it. "Shell shock" was for soldiers, not ordinary citizens. That our society is still carrying on this atrocity speaks volumes on how little has changed in the last 50 years, in the way of moving decision-making power from corporate money and influence into the hands of "the people", the working class, upon whose shoulders rests the advance of true democratic civilization.
