beautifully done, stylish, accomplished and inspiring - but for pure joy and pure Russian passion, Tereshkina, Sarafanov and Shklyarov are supreme

sucks to get a boner there....

GENIALT!!!

I love the use of their arms- it's so expressive. I don't know if I like the way this company holds their arms, but it is effective. I'm glad I finally watched this- it's really cool choreography.

@MrNocco You are absolutely right. :-)

@adballet this is still good ;)

@boggydance Lander higher than Balanchine?!? no way.

Man this is a ballet that brings a company level really high ( more so than Thems and variations). They do an excellent job at it. It must be so much fun doing it even though i am sure you can't really move anymore afterwords and during it you don't wanna stop for breathing cause you'll just fall flat on the floor. :-)
But really great to see.
Cogratulations

@ddoban Actually, this ballet was in the repertoire of the National Ballet of Canada,
I wish they would bring it back!
Leonid Sarafanov beats everybody.

I've only heard about this ballet and seen pictures of it in books. It's really beautiful, and I love the music. Thank you for posting this on Youtube, and I wish more companies had this in their rep.
