This truck spontaneously combusted out of nowhere about 100 feet from my house. Apparently Ford F-150s and a few other Ford products have a problem with the "cruise control deactivation switch" overheating with the car off and causing a spontaneous fire to start in the engine bay. If you have a Ford truck made somewhere around 2000 you may want to have this checked out. Have you driven a Ford lately? might not wanna try...

  • oh, and for all the haters out there.... Why does the FORD F-150 have the most towing, most bed weight, longest lasting, most fuel efficient, most comfortable, and has never lost a moter trend truck VS truck battle? oh, prolly cause its been the BEST SELLING TRUCK FOR LIKE 34 YEARS!

  • @Curtisexplorer you forgot most flammable.

  • every vehicle is a peice of junk. they all have to be worked on at some point of time

  • @WARD5KUSTOMZ this may be, but most don't catch on fire in an epic way 30 minutes AFTER they've been turned off and exited. Just imagine if something like this happened with someone's work truck while he briefly came home to change clothes and took his personal vehicle out while his kids were sitting watching TV completely unaware that an inferno was about to engulf the house. Not safe.

  • Burn in hell POS.

  • highest rate of spontaneous combustion out of any other vehicle.

  • am I really the only one that noticed that its not a ford explorer? Its either a ford expedition, or F-150. cause that is NOT an Explorer.

BTW, My explorer has over 200,000 on it and has never been in the shop for more that brakes, oil changes, fluid changes. so honestly, you can all go fuck your self if you really believe ford sucks that bad. Maybe we should talk about how Toyota held a recall back for 7 years? hmm? yes, Toyota was willingly killing ppl for 7 years. LOOK IT UP.

  • Ford Exploder!

  • Not all Fords are crap. My dad's 2003 Lincoln Town Car Executive L has given us over 400,000 miles of service, and still going strong (original engine & transmission). **KOW**

  • @james4q2 Chevy trucks are great, except for the '73-'87 models, which were prone to explosions after side impacts.

  • you are lucky to be away from this pos. people burned alive in that pos.
