MSC South Community Meeting part 11

The following is an audio recording of a Community Meeting held at the Multi-Service Center South (MSC South) homeless shelter on 4/22/2009. This shelter is owned by the City of San Francisco yet managed by the Saint Vincent de Paul Society.

This audio recording is public record. This Community Meeting was a public gathering on public property, and the Saint Vincent de Paul Society is contractually obligated to open its meetings to the public pursuant to item 16.16 of their Grant Agreement with the City of San Francisco.

The Saint Vincent de Paul Society is further obligated to conduct these community meetings in a manner that will "focus on participants' concerns about the shelter operation and participants recommendations for procedural and/or policy changes" pursuant to Appendix A item IV.C.3 of their Grant Agreement and to "treat all shelter clients equally, with respect and dignity" pursuant to Standards of Care (San Francisco Administrative Code 20.404).
