The Ashera is hybrid cat marketed by Lifestyle Pets. The cat is an alleged domestic/wild hybrid cat, a hybrid between the African serval, the Asian leopard cat, and a domestic housecat. However, the authenticity of the breed has been challenged, as the only known examples of "Ashera" cats have been proven by DNA testing to be Savannah cats, an existing breed.

@xMrjamjam I don't know why somebody choose to upload a video of a Serval and call it Ashera, maybe he was joking. A breeder mentioned below, it's clearly a Serval. The shape of the ears is a dead give-away. If you watch videos of Servals you'll see it too. As to Ashera - google "Ashera cat scam" or "Murky background of Ashera and Allerca" - it'll answer your question.

@schlebb1 They didn't do anything artificially. The video shows a Serval, not "Ashera" (which is really a Savannah resold by a guy with criminal record for several times the price). Oh, and no leopards were involved, when they say "leopard" they mean "leopard cat" - a small wildcat which is at start of a bengal breed. Breed a bengal cat to savannah or Serval and you get a Savannah cat with asian leopard cat blood. Both Servals and Asian Leopard Cats were bred to domestic cats the normal way.

@TaoHK The video shows a Serval, but normally Ashera is a Savannah, though if Simon Brodie sold a few Servals as "Asheras" instead of Savannahs it wouldn't surprise me.
