"No Regrets" a short film by Karl Taylor

In July 2011 we entered "No Regrets" in our first video festival with the online video and film festival at Vzaar.

We were ecstatic to learn that it was voted best overall video in the Vzaar Video and Film Festival which was judged by respected film director Oliver Stone director of Hollywood blockbusters such as "Platoon", "JFK and "Wall Street".

Is this shot with the 7D in DSLR or 5D MK ii? How do you keep the sensor from overheating?  Many complain that anywhere from 10 to 40 minutes the cam overheats.

Very nice, but I did find the shot which starts at 00:31 very hard to watch due to the fast shutter speed. Did you not have any ND filters available to keep the shutter speed down to something more filmic?

Though very fun, it also kinda sucks getting into videography and photography, because when you're watching stuff like this, you're always thinking about the camera angles, the type of shot, the light and sound....
