There's a Facebook fan page called "Linkedin Connections Build" go there and leave your profile URL and email and other members will add you... Its a great way to get more connections...
The links I put in my profile actually point back to Linkedin and then redirect to my company website. That being said, I'm not sure they help from an SEO perspective. What do you think?
I just checked my profile to make sure I was doing everything correctly, and noticed that the links for which I changed the anchor text became nofollow links.
