There's no such thing as a 7.62 caliber M16A1, and the M16A1 hasn't been used since the 1980's. They only come in 5.56mm or .223 cal. Saying that is 7.62 caliber would mean that the projectile (bullet) is over 7 1/2 inches across. And the picture you have there appears to be an M4A1 carbine, which fire the same round as an M16A2 but is shorter and lighter. Let's see how great you think it is in service when you see your "best friends" brain splatter a wall when she gets shot.
