One day for you é un cortometraggio tratto da una storia vera. La storia di 20 anni di amicizia tra me e Kate, la mia migliore amica. Dal giorno in cui ci conoscemmo, perché ci misero accanto di banco, il nostro cammino non si é mai separato. Non posso calcolare il numero di ore, pomeriggi, giorni, mesi, che abbiamo potuto passare insieme, soprattutto durante il liceo. Adesso che abbiamo 30 anni vedersi durante un giorno, é un gran regalo, é cogliere un istante di tutti quei luoghi dove siamo state, di tutte quelle cose che ci siamo raccontate, di tutti i diari del liceo, di tutte le foto che ci siamo scattate, di tutti i ragazzi di cui ci siamo innamorate, di tutti i nostri segreti, in un viaggio in motorino. Ancora oggi prendiamo il motorino o la macchina per fare i giri a vuoto e allora é quando mi rendo conto, che la Kate é un gran momento della mia vita, é un giorno di quelli con il sole, il mare, il vento nei capelli e la voglia di scappare, senza andare troppo lontano.

"One day for you" is a short film based on a true story. The story of a twenty year friendship between me and Kate, my best friend.

Since the day we met at school and shared the same desk, we have followed the same path and never drifted apart. I cannot remember how many times, afternoons, days, months, we have spent together, especially during high school. Now, that we are in our
30's, whenever we have the chance to spend a whole day together, it is like a gift for us, to seize the instant of all those places we have been, all the things we have told to each other, all the diaries of our high school, all the photos that we have taken, all the boys we fell in love with, all our secrets, while going on a scooter. At present, we still use the scooter or the car to hang around and that is when I realized that Kate represents a great moment in my life. It is like one of those days with the sun, the sea, the wind in
your hair and the desire to run away, without going too far.
