@mrtundra45 probably, but I know if it weren't for a lot of sampled songs, i wouldn't have heard of the original artists. rappers should publicity give more credit to the original artists, but the kids should do their own research as well.

@PeterSmeter RAIRLY does the ORIGINAL artist get any shoutouts....most kids will give full credit to the rappers as if they made the tracks and lyrics all themselves.......example, MILLIONS of kids know the Kanye West song but have NO clue who Shirley Bassey is nor have they heard this song.....and plenty of Rappers have been Sued for sampling tracks lol...see my point?

@mrtundra45 I agree. Other songs like 'Gotta go home' by Boney M and 'Video killed the radio star' by the Buggles have also been stolen and remixed by other non-talented artists

@plykshow Actually the singer of this song, Shirley Bassey, was really impressed with Kanye's version, and it won a Grammy award. Just because his music doesn't appeal to you doesn't mean he's talentless

This video was posted two years ago, I've changed a lot since then and looking back at the old videos like this I actually think 'why did i even need to add an intro/outro?' But tbh i'm not going to take it down and re-post just because of it. I'd rather listen to that quick bit and then just enjoy the song. What annoys me is that I've told this to many people before but of course people never read it and post their hater comments. But everyone has an opinion...
