The Fara church -- the oldest church in Rzeszów.
The parochial St. Stanislaus and Adalbert's church, the popular Farny Church. According to old documents, the parochial church was in existence as early as 1363. Supposedly, the first church was destroyed during the great fire (around 1427), and the existing building may be traced back to the beginning of the 15th century. Most probably, the oldest part of the church, i.e. its Gothic chancel, dates back to 1434. At the beginning of the 16th century, the church was fortified - it was given an earth rampart - but it was destroyed by a fire in 1621 and reconstructed in 1623 due to the efforts of Mikołaj Spytek Ligęza.

In 1754 the main nave was rebuilt, the lateral naves were added and the church was given a baroque interior decor. The renovation work was conducted in: 1962-65, 1971-72, 1976, and in 1999 renovation of the interior started. At present, the church is a monumental, three nave building in the baroque style. The interior of the church is varied, mainly dating from the 18th century. The one-storey main altar from 1730 is placed on a high pedestal with columns and rich ornaments at the top. Its central part is occupied by an oil painting of the Crucifixion of Christ by an unknown painter from the end of the 18th or the beginning of the 19th century.

In the upper reaches there are paintings of St. Stanislaus and St. Adalbert going back to the same period. The rococo style pulpit with rich sculptures dates from the middle of the 18th century, whereas the wooden crossbeam with a crucifix, sculpted in the Regent's style is from appr. 1730. The lateral altars, predominantly wooden, richly gilded and sculpted, with oil paintings, are mainly in the baroque or late baroque style from the first half of the 18th century. Near the church there stands a high, square belfry in the baroque style, covered with a dome-like cap, erected in the 17th century.
