I play this odd little 'toy' instrument that has an admitedly phallic shape to it. And it's bright red.
As embarassing as this is for me to say, I can't put the damn thing down. And it has been this way for the past twenty years.
I use it to structure the basic rough sketches of the soundtracks for these little video vignettes, but every now and then I just get carried away, noodlin'.
And we all know what ZAPPA said about soloists.
Please do not be alarmed however, THIS IS JUST A TEST!!!
My slave keyboard, YAMAHA PSS-795, responds to most SHS-10 commands, and I can't help you with your PSR-330 as I'm not familliar with it.
I have opened a new YouTube channel under the user name KEYTARZAN. Hope you too can record some of your evolving musical output and post it.
The SHS-10 is on the twentieth century tech endangered species list, eh? The only way we'll ever see a new and improved model is to help create a market for it.

haai ;) I need your help if possible. I connect my Shs 10 to my psr 330 [both yamaha] and then I can play with the sounds of my shs 10 and psr 330. But for some reason my psr 330 doesnt do pitch bend when I turn the wheel or vibrate when I push the vibrato button¿ do you have any idea what i must do¿

Congratulations my friend. I still haven't had time to put together an actual "tutorial" exhibiting my limited knowledge and ability on the SHS-10. Still I do have some songwriter/busker rehearsal videos I can share to illustrate just how this amateur uses our unique instrument. Let me know if you're interested in seeing/hearing some of this rough footage.
We're "making a noise in this world"*, eh?

Sorry it takes me so long to get back to questions. Thanks for thinking this sounds cool.
I'm too busy to put together a 'tutorial' but I can tell you that the 'sound' is the "electic guitar" voice on the SHS-10 and I've also midi-ed it through a YAMAHA PSS-795 mini-keyboard on one of the "strings" voices.

yea.. with a bit of luck I will have one too:D but erm.. can you make a kind of tuturial where you really show how you played this song¿ because it sounds so cool.. and I can play keyboard very well, but I dont have a lot of experience with the synthisizer part of it. mayby you can show me [and all other people] how it really works¿ hope you will :) thank you already.

Thanks for your encouraging feedback. To be perfectly honest, the only reason I called it a "SEXTOY" is that I thought it might attract more viewers. Congratulations you are the first person to comment on this blatantly deceptive advertising technique.
Hope you can acquire a healthy SHS-10.
They can be a great tool for songwriter/performers. And they are a lot of fun!
