  • Bad film. Not worth watching.

  • @signekivi You have done a good job with the German subtitles - reducing it as far as possible so the viewer can watch the movie smoothly.

  • I have never heard the term "SNAFU" (Situation Normal All Fucked Up- or All Fouled Up) used as a verb before, not that it wasn't used. But normally, it is used as an adjective to describe something beyond repair. Another similar acronym that came out of WWII was "FUBAR" (Fucked Up Beyond All Repair).

God bless them. I grew up seeing WWII Vets as seasoned men, now that I am near 50 myself, I realize that our boys were just that, Boys.

Young people deserve much more respect than they get.

  • @Heer88

Black Market, veleicht? It was quite common during the war as most NAZI officials were more corrupt the the people that they would criticize. GESTAPO Agents were often caught themselves with loads of Nylons, Chocolate, British Tea, American Coffee and Cigarettes.

Good eye though. I was making up an excuse for the producer, but they weren't as critical in the "continuity" department.

I enjoy finding pre-dated technologies in period films myself.

  • Quite the ensemble of movie actors on a grand scale unlike seen before...great acting, beautiful scenery, death, what more can you ask for. What a masterpiece!!!

  • The Soviets were at the Oder - not the Elbe - that did not happen for another six weeks!

  • Major Kreuger with US glasses lol what a mistake

  • @signekivi Thx 4 the quick reply,and okay..

  • @lSSNazi88

    No.

    This is the original.

    I put the German subtitles.

    Because Germans speak English.

    They do not speak German.

  • @signekivi hey is this the remake?
