@Doliath - I think that's a possibility, but I think it had more to do with the fact that most people who are full of themselves think that everything they say has equal importance, and they often are lengthy speakers and writers, and don't apply much editing to what they are doing. Often, they use overspeak and overwriting to cover the deficiencies in what they are saying.
