"No need for harvesting fossil fuels"... Really? Is that why three of the top five corporations are energy companies? Interesting. Economics can explain why we still need fossil fuels. I am not going to write a page long explanation about production decline curves. You can easily look that up on the internet. One tidbit, initial production is typically strong, then drops to a more steady state.
I am all about using any energy source available that can be economically feasible

@derekdz Well, we have had perfectly good working solar panels since the early 1960's and it's easy to make Hydrogen from water ...... No need for harvesting fossil fuels! We can get free energy from the sun! Or make all the cheap Hydrogen we will ever need.
Shale gas is a scam! A ponzi scheme at best! Look at the drop in well production after just one year! "40 years" my ass!
