Lion King Celebration Part 1

The Legend of the Lion King parade, Disneyland 1997. This recording was made with a JVC binaural microphone system. If you listen with headphones, you will hear the sound all around you (including behind you). The parade music is playing through speakers around Main Street, so the binaural effect will work better with crowd sounds (including my friends and I). This is part 1 of 2 parts, with the parade moving to the song "I Just Can't Wait to Be King"

Back in "the old days", Disneyland had a parking lot (just a big,flat piece of asphalt) . Changa, my friend, arrived separately by car and ran all the way from the parking lot to make the beginning of the parade. That is his voice you hear.

i remember this parade when i was 8 and i was fascinated with everything! the biggest highligh i remembered the most, other than Simba and Nala, were the aligators and the bugs lol

OMG! I saw this in 1994 When I was like 3. I love it and still remember it! Best parade ive ever seen from Disney. Thanks for posting!

No it wasnt do you even know what your talking about? it was for the 50th anniversary of Disneyland...Thats Disneyland Most Epic Parade....You obviously havent been to Disneyland in the past 4 years....Do you even live in Anaheim? Last minute? if it was put together at the last minute, then why did it run from 2005-2008? Lion King only lasted till 1998!!! not even 2 years you have no idea what your talking about.....
