I love the fact that they weren't afraid to be themselves and dared to be different. Exactly what music lacks these days. I was totally born i the wrong era haha. bring back the 70s!

Saw these guys in St.Louis USA with Aerosmith and Nazareth warming them up then the following weekend at a place called Concerts South 2 nights in a row The place shut down after that weekend The crowds went NUTZ GREAT GREAT BAND Always will be at the top of my list for true ROCKERS

@StickWarrior I remember when they had their 1st hits and they were all Skinheads Boots and Brace's and Jeans BUT they stated to get a violent element coming to their gigs so they changed their attire and the Violent element just could not handle it,,, there is more to Slade than meets the eye. i remember coming home from school and watching them on early evening TV.
