Colts vs Chiefs 2012: Indianapolis Clinches Wild Card Spot with 20-13 Win over Kansas City

With a 20-13 win in Kansas City, the Indianapolis Colts have locked themselves into the 5th seed in the AFC Playoffs. It wasn't always pretty, but at the end of the day, Andrew Luck guided the Colts to their 10th win after winning just 2 a year ago. He passed for 205 yards, including a 7 yard TD to Reggie Wayne, and combined with their stingy pass defense (which included a 32 yard Darius Butler pick-6), it was more than enough to defeat the lowly Chiefs. Brad Wells of Stampede Blue shares his thoughts on the game.

Even if they don't win their Wild Card playoff game, I am tremendously proud of our guys this season. I would have called 6-10 a good season, let alone 11-5.

Colts made it... I said if the Colts can't beat the Chiefs, they shouldn't be in the playoffs. Well they did as we all know, and no matter wether they lose the first game or go all the way, they have exceeded my expectations (and I believe most peoples) and made this one hell of a year for Colts fans!

To all the haters out there over the years that said "The colts arent anything without peyton manning!" Feel free to insert foot in mouth. A team that won 2 games last year came back with a rookie receiver, running back, and quarterback secures a spot in the playoffs. This should be an interesting post season.
