Looks like an older rozer head unit. You should get the boss to spring for a ring debarker. Those babies are awsome, and they chew up a lot less of your wood.

Found it madding to deal with the camera work. Camera man must have been getting debarked as well

i've run both rosserhead and ring debarkers. rings are good in a pulp mill but with the logs we get nowadays rosserheads are the way to go, get some knots or burls the sawyers miss in the woods and you can grind em off and somke out the mill in the process! always fun! good job on the vid!

i have ran one like this for 5 years....i would fill 2 box trailer on a semi a day of bark....around 500 to 1000 logs....i debarked for 2 mills....and i kept up just fine....was it cold when u made this video...becuase the flippers that flip it off when u r done stuck...mine did that when it was cold...and in the begining u had to logs on the rollers...should have just started u rollers in normal rotation and let the other log just get sucked back out of the way then when done just roll it off

I guess high production rates is not a big deal. drum debarkers or valon cone ring debarkers are much faster and efficient. This piece of junk looks like a high maintenenace item.

I appreciate all comments, but Bru3456 hit it on the head.pulppeeler and pitbullowner also got it right. The machine worked good enough, but it was old and weak.
