The code is fine, the issues I have are with the mechanical aspect. I didn't get to machine all the parts the way I wanted to (time constraints) and not everything is balanced. The motors have a harder time traveling in one direction than the other because the entire unit is off balanced. Otherwise the unit would perform pretty well!
nice arduino trick, how could you have it working so fast? (the reaction is instant)

Used a gyro to sense the rate of rotation. Moved the motors in the opposite direction for any movement it detected
