Was it a railway branch that was abandoned?

@milansc The abandoned line straight ahead is constituted by two small tunnels with a metal small bridge from each other. The total straight length was a hundred metres and abandoned because it was dangerous with the manufacture of bypass right.

Now I understand. The two tunnels with a bridge in between was a dangerous section, possibly rocks falling down on the bridge, so therefore replaced with a bridge and one longer tunnel to form a newer section/bypass to the right.

In Italia abbiamo due sole tranvie a cremagliera, una a Genova e una a Torino, detta come questo treno, "dentiera".
