steve iwrin, the greatest conservationist ...ever lived ..the legend w.r.t wild life...Stephen Robert Irwin (22 February 1962 -- 4 September 2006), nicknamed "The Crocodile Hunter", was an Australian conservationist and television personality. He achieved world-wide fame, from the television program The Crocodile Hunter, an internationally-broadcast wildlife documentary series co-hosted with his wife Terri Irwin. Together with his wife, he also co-owned and operated Australia Zoo in Beerwah, Queensland, founded by his parents
Right and as Wes said the croc was tired and his movements were slow and lathargic so he wouldn't have been fast enough to pose a threat to Robert. Steve wouldn't have took him in there with the croc at full power. He got the "sting" out of him first

You can say what you want, but no matter what you say, you can never change the legacy Steve Irwin left behind.

Wow, that's amazing. I know you're sad about his death, but his legacy will live on in allof our hearts.

Steve wasn't just playing with the crocs,he kept them from getting bored; that sort of interaction was daring, but good for the crocs emtional health. My dog loves to be chased, and teased with a sock he thinks is a rat, and he loves to chase me. All animals, especially those in zoos need interaction, because animals can become depressed just like us. He loved his crocs; he rescued many from being shot or maimed, so anyone criticizing him doesn't know the real Steve Irwin.

This comment has received too many negative votes show
he loved his animals so much that in front of an audiance he teases and plays with crocodiles in his park, crocodile is a wild animal it aint a pussy cat or a dog you jus dont piss around with crocs, he never thought of the crocs he was teasing, only about the money he got for his little shows, not much thought bout the crocodiles there

Steve was always so excited about whatever he did, and that's what I really liked about him, how often do you find someone or even see someone who loves life that much, whose that enthusiatic in what they did. "he even commentated the birth," Gotta love him.
I'll miss you Steve Irwin, THE Crocodile Hunter.
