I live in Chile, and have a 1999 4 runner. Anyway, I went on holiday to Trollo (near Lonquimay, if you want to check the place on the net). One of the hardest roads I've ever driven on, and what did I see when I got there??? nothing for toyota trucks and SUV's!! I asked why, and I was told that Toyotas were the thoughest trucks, not chevy, not ford, but those from Japan.

I'm really happy with my 4 runner.

I drove a 3.0 4WD T100 on 5 cylinders for a few months :-)

If you PM them they are good motors... not near as bad as some say. You just can NOT run them low on oil or overheat them... They are NOWHERE NEAR as forgiving as a 22R!
