  • THIS ALL YOU PEOPLE THAT LIKE TO DRIVE FAST. MAYBE YOU SHOULD GET ONE OF THESE.

  • hmm lmfao i thought it was a transformer type :P well maybe in 203 yeears :)

  • too much fuel consumption that why you dont see it!

  • I can't wait until more aeronautical engineers put forth the effort of making a vehicle like this.

The Terrafugia will be tested some time this February.

Don't let us down Terrafugia engineers.

  • Amazing! What would really be cool is if future models had vertical takeoff like in the Harrier II jets used by the U.S. and British military.

  • Here is what his MIT professor had to say about him, In my 30 years as a teacher [at MIT], I cannot recall a clearer exponent of the Edison mindset, said MIT Professor of Aeronautics and Astronautics Manuel Martinez-Sanchez, one of Dietrichs recommenders for the $30,000 Lemelson-MIT Student Prize. Carl is routinely cycling back and forth between what is known and what is possible.

Give them time to get it right. They are on schedule with their production.

  • Have you researched the speaker's biography in this video?

Carl Dietrich - 2006 Lemelson-MIT Student Prize Winner and S.B. (1999), S.M. (2003) and Ph.D. (2006) in aeronautics and astronautics from MIT. In 1998 Dietrich co-founded the MIT Rocket Team. He holds a patent for his Centrifugal Direct Injection Engine (CDIE)—a low-cost, high-performance rocket propulsion engine. CDIE operates without a conventional turbopump pressurization system, which greatly reduces its complexity and cost.

  • Why is there no video footage of this machine actually flying? Take off- in flight maneuvering- landing. I've searched the company website and web. NOTHING AT ALL!
