Domnina/Shabalin are much more better!!!

They´re both good, but Dom/Shab managed to skate very clean and with character at the same time. The Americans seem to be struggling with their holds and don´t keep the mood.

i completely disagree. Belbin's posture is far superior. Both have great edges but the armhold is where the American's did better. Belbin and Agosto also had slightly better patterns compared to the Russians. The US executed a closer feel to tango than the Russians did and that's just my opinion.

how does the russian tango look anything like a waltz??? thats pure tango expression and skating quality that they're showing....if you look at the opening progressives from b and a, you can see agosto is bobbing up and down, when in tango, steps should be even and very firm.almost like giving a mean attitude.

you've got everything the other way around....american teams score higher in waltzes and russians score higher in tango's. proven fact.

I definetely prefer shabalin and domnina. much stronger, more passionate dancers...maxim brings just the kind of emotion tango requires, and oksana is with him all the way. with belbin and agosta I always feel like something is missing in their performances.

D/S's tango truly rocks! Their tango is far superior, Max's hold is firm, his arm high, they're crisp, clean show classic tango expression. A well executed tango is about sexual tension between a man and woman. B/A was nice, decent leg extension and patterns but absolutely NO tension.
