S.Aishwarya, (then aged 11 years),Great Grand Daughter of Smt M.S.Subbulakshmi , accompanies her Grandmother.
Aishwarya has been learning Carnatic Music from her 4th year with her Grandmother. From her 5th to 7th year she was also trained by Sharanya Krishnan , disciple of Smt Suguna Purushottaman . She is currently under the tutelage & guidance of Karnataka Kalashree, Vidushi Jambu Kannan, since 2002.
Aishwarya has also been learning the Veena since 2005 from Vidwan A Shankar Raman , disciple of Late Rajeshwari Padmanabhan (of the illustrious Karaikudi Baani)

There is so much one can learn from smt Radha.Every time I see these videos,I am reminded of a purposefulness to the life that we lead.Its as if she is asking us if we have fulfilled the very meaning of being born as a human.

Apart from that,that little kid,outdoes her grandma,God bless the little one.

Actually Sriramkumar started playing for MS Amma after 1988 or roundabout.

But yes, Mami and Aishwarya have sung this exactly like how MS amma and Mami herself would have sung. Even the anuswaras are sung so beautifully.!

Took me back to an AIR recording of mami from the 70s , i guess with RK Sriramkumar on violin .. Such an amazing control over shruthi & laya even after sooooo many years !! My heartful namaskarams to mami !!
