Evo X - ETS Exhaust sound/Launch

Here is my friend Josh autocrossing his Evo x. "I have only been autocrossing for a couple sessions now, but hopefully will be making a bigger appearance next season. I have had the car for 4 years, and started modding it right away. Hopefully in the future i get a set of track tires, rims, brake pads, coilovers and rotors to make a fun track car on weekends. The mods already on the car are: FMIC, Full ETS Turbo back Exhaust with Open 02 wastgate dump down pipe and no cats, TBE, CAI, MBC, UICP, LICP, Twin disc clutch/flywheel, Rota g-force 18x9.5 +20, Rear swaybar, Tune from CBRD" - Josh

I was there that day. I rode shotgun in the white CRX. You should put up a video, if you have one, of the white lotus exige that was there, now that was a sick car.

@driftmonster11 haha the tires that were on the car were pos drift tires and i couldnt get any more traction to save my life... and rather not take the chance of dropping below 3,000 rpm's to lose boost.

@dewey12311991 No, all though almost exactly like the ets extreme, its the first version ets came out with for the evo 10. ets 02 dump down pipe, test pipe, and 3' pipe that Y's into 2 2.5" pipes with 2 aero mufflers. No cat's or anything tho! just look up ets V1 exhaust evo x and you should find it.

@goguen55 Believe it or not, that's an OEM part. And it's there for downforce, not looks (but it does help those IMO, kinda hard to make a sedan-based car look cool without a spoiler of some kind).

@Heath3250 haha actually im replacing the clutch as we speak :p but yea it is deff not worth all the abuse unless its competitive. Car is getting tranny, front diff, t-case rebuilt, and new clutch as we speak.

Glad he saved some clutch on the second launch lol it's not really worth the abuse if you don't have a sponsor or aren't going past regionals. Looks like he is doing well! Good luck guys!!!
