@rahulthewild Um... taking all the hard classes, keeping all grades in the A-range, a good extracurricular, strong SAT/ACTs, and decent ability to write essays? I know this is pretty generic advice but if you can stick to it I don't see why you can't go to a school like this.

@rahulthewild I was recently accepted (1 month ago) to Berkeley. I would advise you to achieve the highest grades you can. Also, when it comes time to apply, Berkeley says "We don't admit students, we admit stories." So think of your application as a book. You want to make your book interesting and add illustrations to give the reader a better picture of you, the student. Take your time and emphasize your uniqueness in the personal statement.
