What about vegetables?? Or is that counted with the complex carbs? Because I eat a balance or should I say a high amount of raw greens with my complex carbs and high amount of lean protein with my healthy fats like nuts, flax seeds, avacado, etc. to maintain my physique.

@brainburn87 Oats or Ezekial Cereal. Those are my two top picks for post workout complex carbs.

I don't think its that easy (or maybe it is). Any suggestions for performance athletes? I practice Muay-Thai. Classes are intense and its an extreme anaerobic workout compared to traditional muscle building workouts.

@iApna If you are performing high intensity muay-thai a few days a week along with weight lifting, I recommend taking your current body weight and multiplying it by 24 to get the amount of calories you will need for that much physical activity.

For example, is you are 145 lbs take 145 x 24 = 3480 calories per day

coolboy111 1 year ago
@coolboy111 No complex carbs, high quality protein, or natural fats in donuts. Next time, pay attention to the entire video before you put your foot in your mouth.
