@jewyjewington Obama was sworn in as a senator on January 4, 2005. Just 3 more years to president, still amuse me. Anyway thanks for your comments. Rev Moon's autobiography was published on March 1st 2009, entitled "As a Peace Loving Global Citizen" in Korea. It is no surprise that it became a best-seller in Korea for many months! @TheHeavenlySoldiers In that case he was wrong. 1975+30yrs=2005. Obama was elected after 2005.

@jewyjewington Well, he did gave them a time frame. In His Autobiography, Rev Moon said:
"Wait and see," I told a gathering in Chicago on October 24, 1975. "Within the next thirty years, there will be a president of the United States who was born into an interracial black and white family."
Anyway this is just something interesting, because he told this in Chicago, where Barack Obama spent much of his adult life in Chicago too.

This is hardly a prophecy. Anybody could have said that "someday" a mulato (half black/half white) person will be president of the U.S. Anybody could say such a thing. Without specifying a date, or at least giving some type of time frame, this amounts to mere conjecture that awaited fulfillment.
I can make a "prophecy" that some day there will be a president of Asian descent. I won't say when, but "someday". Whenever that happens in 20yrs, 50yrs, 100yrs or 500yrs, I will be proven a prophet!
