4 min. happens fast. Why did God let Mormons have Utah? WHY? Late Nov' '08. Until you see the the views they are difficult to comprehend. You need all day to do Grand Gallery and really all of them deserve a minimum of 1 day. Add in off road driving and hiking and getting lost and stuck and necking and spooning and rain and ufo's and you really need at least a week for this. Just what it took me. Just getting into any of these canyons and moving around in them can use up days and days. Months. and Years. Canyon Lands and the general area is Flat 10,000 sq mi. Or More. Add in Canyons square miles and its 10's of thousands of square miles and you never see another person for days at a time. 2 weeks and more I sit off the road in "Fable Valley" area and see no one. And some times its so quiet you can hear all your breathing, heart and ears. Humans are noisy. It's hard to imagine how quiet it can be. Never in a city
