First of all Patterson dont let you latch on the run. Second this was when I was breaking out. Third I would have had to pull them all the way back in the alley to have them ready....aint happening. Im working the board and if that driller dont like the way I do shit then he can find someone else. Probally like my third time in the derrick. Everyone is a critic. Im bigger Im better Im faster....who gives a fuck! I will upload some new videos as soon as I get some. And yes I was afraid of heights

Why don't yall rack your collars in the fingers? I've never seen anyone that'll let you stand em in the derrick like that. Our safety man would shit himself if he saw that.

Every rig I have worked on we racked them in the derrick...never done it any other way. Did work with a couple of guys who had.

Going in the hole, been a long time since I worked a derrick. Used to handle the 3/1/2, and 4/1/2 triples no problem, but that 5/1/2 pipe kicked my butt. I'd like to see if I could still trip pipe for eight hours going in or out. Nice video of the collar work, brought back some memory's.

@billidreher yea 6 years.. "seen it both ways" there's one way.. Unless your from Canada "eh" .. I also started drilling after a year.. Have you ever been on a rig? Everybody wants to be a roughneck.. You either got it or ya don't.. Don't let alligator mouth over load your humming bird ass..
