  • im a white van man and my lane discipline is better than magnatoms!! and so is my consideration for other road users.....which brings me to the conclusion that the tanker driver (which was clearly in the wrong) most probably presumed you were turning right by your position on the roundabout and was that pissed at being held up (by magnatom riding in the centre of the lane when he should of been in his designated cycle lane) that he tried to go around the outside of you...only my thoughts

  • @mozer30 I'd be interested to see your lane discipline on this roundabout.....as there are no lane separators, so there is only one lane. Also due to a deflection on the entrance to the roundabout I am effectively taking a right turn. It is actually the third exit. I can assure you, driving your white van you would take the same line I did. I need to pop a video up showing how traffic uses that roundabout....

  • you could have stopped sooner

  • @hoffbrand You are right, but only if Bob the Builder had stopped time using a time machine and built a brick wall in between me and the HGV. Mind you, it would have made for interesting footage....

  • You appear to have a blind spot on your entire left side. It is very dangerous to assume vehicle drivers are going to behave rationally, especially on roundabouts. Half the time they are dozing off and not looking for blind spotfor cyclists. You should've broke and eased off speed way before when you saw him approaching without slowing down. How about pre emptively ringing your bell till you get eye contact from the dozy pilllock driving. Another thing to get is a decent bike mirror t

  • @SebasArielStern What's stopping time got to do with anything?

  • THIS was on BBC Breakfast this morning-much love man

  • magnatom, were YOU giving correct hand signals?

  • It's a shame no conviction was recorded, however it's good to hear the driver owned up to it to the Police. Hopefully it means this driver at least will change his behaviour in the future.

  • YOu had too much fukcing time to stop the bike. Try to stop a truck of 16 tons in 5 seconds...

  • @KellyOnDrums its called giving way dumbass

  • Lorry driver's totally in the wrong, there shouldn't be any debate about this. Go and Google Highway code rule 185.

  • He was 21cm too far away then.

  • @zivkovicable i know but good thing i'm a multi instrumentalist with very high grade standards. wouldn't class myself as sophisticated though. nor should anyone
