Fairfield Plastic Factory Fire

This is a different video from the Fairfield Plastics Factory Fire. You can see that the heat is so intense that it is creating fire tornados inside the clouds of smoke. You need to remember that the fence you see is 8 feet tall so these flames are going upward of 80 feet or more...Yes it was warm where I was taking these videos and pictures. Again in a short while I will post more pictures at www.flickr.com under the user Shutterkrazy. The noise was so loud and you could actually feel vibrations on the ground! Things falling out of the cloud were starting fires in the grass field in front of me. At one point there were fires all over in this field. I learned from shooting pictures of the ocean to always have a second way out! Luckily I had the railroad tracks behind me that if I had to...I could back out that way but luckily the fire department eventually came out and put out the small grass fires out here also!!!

I live over by K.I. Jones, my backyard was black from the smoke. The flames were even visible from the Waterman/Air Base overpass. Craziness.
