Nordic curls are great for developing strength through the hamstrings (particulalry eccentric strength) - the big problem is they are a very tough exercise and one of my top progressions. Here's a simple way to introduce the exercise using a superband for some assistance (my technique is a little bit messy, but you'll get the idea).
