It looks really cute, I just made one and for the cartboard(or cardboard I dont know) I used a cereal box ;D

Heather, thanks for the informative tutorial. I think this is a great idea to give as a gift for a new home owners guest book. I would like to know what technique you would use to make the holes for a larger book, with about 50 pages. Any suggestions?

Hi, Daniel. I haven't done any books that large, but a metal awl might work. Maybe you could try punching the holes in smaller stacks of the paper and then combining them? Hope it works out! Heather
