Bengie the Brave,

***PLEASE READ FIRST!*** I have known Sarah for many years, i have seen myself the change from when she first got Bengie to the present day, and i can say you honestly wouldn't believe that they were the same horse..

A little about Bengie
Sarah found Bengie in the local newspaper just over 5 years ago, he was advertised as a 'jumping pony', So sarah went to go see Bengie, as you can see from the first picture in the slideshow, he was sruffy, had an ill fitting rug, he had shetland sized shoes on his front feet, not been groomed in a long time, his back legs were torn apart from barbed wire, but even though sarah was after a jumping pony, it was love at first sight.
Not long after sarah got bengie as an early xmas prezzy, He was to go with their dales pony, Zak, who unfortunately had to be put to sleep, both bengie and sarah kept each other strong, and helped each other throughout any down points in their lives,
Bengies legs have been getting better slowley over these past 5 years, but its like taking 3 steps forwards then 2 back.

I am so proud with how much work sarah and her mum have done with bengie, most people would take one look at his legs and give up, but bengie is strong thanks to his amazing owner,

Beautiful story! You can see the bond between them in these pics. He's a wonderful horse and it is fantastic that he has found his best human mate :)
