OH and you can ride this in the rain I have. It has a range about 12 miles with pedaling I had an average speed of 16 mph and I am terribly out of shape. The battery pack on mine has only 2 batteries so it would not be too expensive to have additional batteries should you feel you need the additional power.

Go to wal mart buy an electric bike for around $400. and just buy an additional set of batteries and keep a set charged at work and at home get to your destination swap them out charge time is 6 hours but it is far cheaper than $3K+ this way you save $3K.

The question is whether you could ride this expensive piece of electric junk in the rain or not? Id really hate to electricute myself and break my over-priced bike at the same time.

OUCH!!! Overly priced...if u can get an electric scooter for $200 , a bike shouldnt be that much more....
