A combination of footage from the film festivals showcased movies. The Ocean Channel commissioned surfing filmmaker John Lynch to create a unique opening sequence for the 2006 Ocean Film Festival to be presented before the opening night film.

The annual Santa Barbara event showcases unique multi national films from around the globe. This film festival raises money and awareness for ocean related situations world wide.
