  • Concerning the shift sound : when you release the throttle, the turbos still boost to avoid any lag for the next gear, accordingly to the lightweight flying wheel. When you want to be fast, this is the best way to keep full response. On the other hand, when you want to drive slowly, you just have to take your time while changing gears then drop-off valve has enough time to release the pressure : this sound effect disappear.

  • For all the engineers coming with a lot of advices : all Ruf engines are tested on the bench. Therefore, the mileage never fits the speedo indications.

  • @nomainreason there are no speedlimits on the german highway (Autobahn) and as far as I see it his is driving very carefully therefore I dont think he is doing anything wrong

  • A Ruf is a dog's favorite car (if you know what I mean)

  • @spiksanders Cayman

  • Option Auto is the best. If you search for a Car Review, Option Auto is the answer! Thank you Option Team.

  • !! the 911 at 3:05 !!! :D

  • @BlackHawk2669 whether speed limits or not I find it crazy that the difference of it simply being legal and it being illegal is that some fat mofo has projected what he sees fit onto others.

  • How the HELL did he not floor it through the tunnel? Tunnels are my biggest weakness. If cops could hide in them, I'd be fucked.

  • omg i fucking like this car he's so faster

  • SOUNDS GREAT ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • @z33twinturbo If you ever get a chance to drive this monster please do some flat foot shifting, (floor gas while using clutch), I am interested to see if Ruf has incorporated that racing feature into their cars, especially one as brutal as this.

  • @OptionAuto It is impossible for turbines to increase their speed and increase manifold pressure (or boost pressure) while throttle is released. What you are referring to is the setting on the blow off valve; in this car the blow off valve has a high pressure/slow release to keep pressure in the manifold. I think this is what you meant, maybe just explained a little less clearly.
