This short film shows Celestine keyboardplayer Hugo Törntorp demonstrating the Mellotron sound Flute #2. This is a different flute sound than the classic Strawberry fields flute. Celestine is a very cinematic, mood ridden band from Stockholm, Sweden. The band has recorded one album called between bedtime and sunrise produced by Mattias Olsson. Roth Händle studio is the home of one of the worlds biggest and oddest collections of vintage keyboards, drum machines and effects. For more info, videos and pictures please visit www.roth-handle.nu

  • Hi Thank you...I think it was just improvised...!

  • Great synth there, was this little demo improvised, or is it a part of something bigger? I ask, because the short melody that develops around 0:08 is very simillar to Urszula's "Dmuchawce Latawce Wiatr", but i doubt You'd know that one. As a man who's obsessed with knowing where things originate, i'd like to know, where did this melody come from?;)

    Great equipment!:)

  • No...They are great they way they are...

  • Too bad mellotrons can only be programmed to emulate one instrument at a time.

  • They are pretty remarkable instruments...

  • i want one..
