My son delivered December 20, 2008 via cesarean. He was delivered at 40 weeks 5 days gestation. He is the meaning of life to me. We are so proud of our little man.

The song is Britney Spears - Someday.

  • OMG she was awake, I couldn't imagine. I wasn't awake for mine-thank God

  • @amberjade11 I had an epidural. I was completely numb from the chest down. Most doctors around here do not use anesthesia for c-sections. The general consensus is that the anesthetic used to put someone to sleep for general surgery is too strong to be absorbed into the baby's system and could be life threatening for it.

  • absolutely beautiful. i still think cesar births are just as special if not more because without them a birth usually wouldnt end well. may i ask what was it that made the cesar nessessary? im due in 4 weeks and a cesar may be nessessary for my size in proportion to bubbas (im only very tiny and baby is just a little over average size)

  • @TheSharniexxox Thank you for your kind words. The cesarean was necessary beacause during labor his vitals were dropping drastically due to unknown reasons. The umbilical cord was wrapped in up and across the top of his head, which was pinching the cord between his forehead and my pelvic bone. This pinching was cutting off his oxygen supply, plus there was meconium in the fluid that he was breathing. He needed out as quickly as possible.

  • They did not know about the cord until after they cut me open. All they knew was that his vitals were dropping. It was the pinching of the cord that was the cause.

  • I was watching your so touching video with our baby in my arms. She was born via cesarean too, but unfortunately we didn't take a video. It was a quick decision that she won't be born in a natural way, so we weren't prepared for the cesarean at all. When I was watching your video, I was crying, I felt as if I would see mine operation. Thank you for sharing this fantastic moment of your life and wish you all the bests!

  • That was amazing to see it brought tears to my eyes:) I to have delivered twin boys via c-section. For me it was a terrifying experience and yes it hurt afterward but not too much more like a aching...nothing compared to the pain of having a vaginal birth.

  • that was so cute omg i have a question for u im only eleven but did it hurt wile they were trying to get him out omword that was a dumb question.

  • i wonder does it hurt doing a c-section?

  • that was beautiful i cryed like a baby lol i had my daughter threw csection as well but they wouldnt let me record it

  • @amberjade11 Two years later LOL

  • @Karess369 Well kudos to you! I had 4 epidurals and got out of my bed. The nurses couldn't believe it. All that and I couldn't dilate past seven and a half. Congratulations o n your son!
