I'm not sure who actually wrote this song but I had one of those moments last night when a song pops into your head and just rolls around, filled with memories of what has been and what has yet to be. Soooo, I downloaded Roberta Flacks version and played around with it and this is the outcome. I hope you all enjoy it. Its not one you'd expect me to cover but sometimes I have absolutely no control over what inspires and fulfills me and I hope the comfort and depth that I'm feeling comes through.
Don't EVER forget that love in all its wonderful forms is the passion that drives us to do things we never thought ourselves capable of. Even in its uncertainty, I find myself willing to reach far beyond any fear or self doubt that so often seems to plague my sense of well being and for just a few moments in time, I can see and believe that everything I truly need in this life is provided for me. All I need to do is to open myself up to all of life's possibilities and forget about controlling the outcome.

What can I say, I'm feeling very grateful today and I guess a bit chatty ;-)

Enjoy...TJ

  • Just so you know this was written by Carole King and Gerry Goffin

  • I agree with gilsassi, it would be awesom if you made some tutorials of the covers that you have put on Youtube, it would be greatly appreciated, you have so much talent, it would be great to share some of it for all of us newbies! :o) I recently picked up a copy of Tapestry by Carol King(who wrote this song with her husband) trying to learn So far Away, on Guitar. This is a nice version of this classic! Real nice job!
