I've been using this video series to learn to knit and I definitely have a problem with adding extra stitches!!! The video discusses how to fix an extra yarnover in the middle of the work but what do you do if it's at the beginning of the row??? And how can you tell which loop to drop??? I've just been trying to go through both stitches but it looks funny and sometimes it gets all tangled. arg. :(

Thank you for this video. I just started knitting and was so proud of the scarf I was making. Unfortunately I started with 39 stitches and when I finally counted I was up to 52. Now I know where I went wrong and how to fix things before they get out of hand. Thanks again!!

I like your video really helpful ,,, but i didn't find video number 9?
If its the very last stitch (loop) that has extra yarn than the rest its ok. Youre beginning and youre still learning about tention. Youll learn soon how loose or tight to keep youre working yarn. just finish practicing a square, and start over. Usually when youre done with a square you can stretch and pull any uneven areas to normal. I still have this problem sometimes. Good luck.
