Heres my modded flash fire buggy.. paid 25 bucks for the buggy, and upgraded it all.. novak xrs esc, stock motor (for now) traxxas servo and rx/tx.. Short video of the second run since th upgrade.. seems to take and handle the beating pretty well.. enjoy.. no sound, didnt feel like waiting for the music to add and save..
I got me one about 2 weeks ago from the Hot Wheels site for under $42. That includes tax/ shipping and even 2 batteries and 2 chargers! One of those weird batteries alone are over 20 bucks grand total on Ebay I think, so this is a very sweet deal for someone who wants a 1/10 scale 4wd drive buggy with a lot of hobby grade qualities. It also looks like it can be upgraded to better hobby grade Electronics, shocks and motor possibly.

i had all the electronics upgraded besides the motor. the motor im sure you could find to upgrade, but i found the stock one holding up well with the novak xrs esc i had pushing it. making it quicker than my ruster that was stock. the shocks i never really messed with trying to swap on but should be pretty easy to do a good swap with. i know the redcat racing wheels fit right on and look good too. 42 bucks for 2 of them with the batts and charger is a hell of a deal. this 1 was 20 for car
